Report privately.
Local Core processes user-selected files locally and may retain historical file contents in its local version store.
Reporting a vulnerability
Security reports involving unintended file disclosure, unsafe restore behavior, privilege-boundary issues, installer/signing problems, or dependency vulnerabilities should be handled privately rather than posted with sensitive reproduction data in a public issue.
Send reports privately to claudiu2169@gmail.com with a subject that clearly identifies the message as a Local Core security report. The responsible publisher/operator for this Early Access beta is Claudiu Cojocaru.
What to include
- The affected Local Core version.
- Your Windows version and architecture.
- Clear reproduction steps.
- Whether protected file contents may have been exposed.
Do not attach real private user files when a synthetic reproduction is sufficient.
Supported versions
The first supported public build will be Local Core 0.9.0-beta.1 once it is promoted for download. Release notes will identify supported beta versions and superseded beta builds will not be described as supported after their support window ends.
