Release status

The downloadable 0.9.0-beta.1 Windows artifact has not yet been promoted. This page describes the frozen Early Access scope while final release gates are being completed.

Current limitations

The first Windows Early Access installer is intentionally unsigned, so Windows may show unknown-publisher or reputation warnings.
Local Core does not currently provide its own encryption-at-rest layer for the local version store.
Restore and versioning cover regular file contents. ACLs, alternate data streams, extended attributes, resource forks, and other filesystem metadata are not promised to be preserved.
Local Core must not be used as the user's only backup during Early Access.
Action Hub is not part of beta.1.
Finder Sync and public macOS distribution are not part of the first Early Access release.

Send beta feedback to claudiu2169@gmail.com. Include the Local Core version, Windows version, what you expected, what happened, and concise reproduction steps.

For a potential vulnerability or unintended disclosure of protected data, use the private security reporting route instead.
